Country music icon and beloved storyteller Dolly Parton is preparing to take her final bow—on the page, that is. Her upcoming memoir, Star of the Show: My Life on Stage, is set to release on November 11, 2025, and promises to be a heartfelt tribute to her decades-long journey performing across the world.
Co-written with music journalist Tom Roland, the book will offer a behind-the-scenes look at the performances that shaped her legendary career—from her early days touring with Porter Wagoner to her unforgettable 2023 NFL halftime show. The memoir is also a celebration of her evolution as an entertainer, and serves as the final installment in her autobiographical trilogy, following the acclaimed Songteller and Behind the Seams.

According to the publisher, the deluxe edition will include more than 350 exclusive photographs, many from Parton’s personal archives, as well as a full list of her stage performances.
